I haven't heard anything about when & where next year's FOSTEL will be
held for the past few months. Are there any plans to re-host one?

guess. Is there still interest in that?

Especially if GUUG is to be involved as they have every other year.

Hi,

Simon had to cancel the idea of holding it in Singapore anyway, since
he recently moved to Australia.

A few months ago I heard that GUUG had plans to host it again, but back
then they didn't have any more details.

Not lazy - organizing a conference is real work.

But they probably have real lives on a weekend - something more
interesting than reading emails :)

Any update on this?

I will definitely not be involved this year. Too many other projects.

GUUG is still considering the options. But the main GUUG conference will
be in two weeks, so I expect everybody to be rather busy at the moment.

Yeah. I would like to hear from GUUG before we make any decisions. Unless the
conference is going to be held in Istanbul I am not sure how much help I can
be aside from looking at paper submissions. Whereever it is held I would
definately like to attend, possibly with a few of my collegues though.
